“For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven.†(Ecclesiastes 3:1 NLT)
The end of our school year programs always seems a little bittersweet. We are excited for summer, and we need that little break to get ready for all the summer events, but we also miss seeing our students every week!
This year there is an extra layer to this bittersweet feeling as changes in the school district mean two of our Backyard Bible Club locations won’t be back next year. Austin and Alta Loma Elementary are closing, combining with other schools, and although we hope to see those students at the BBC locations on their new campuses, it is definitely a big change! We praise God for our 18 years of House of Faith at Austin and our 15 years of House of Faith at Alta Loma!
However, as Ecclesiastes says, “For everything there is a season,†and we look forward to all that God will do as we walk into our busy summer season, and then into a new season with Backyard Bible Clubs and the 321 youth program in the fall! He is faithful in every season, and we are blessed by the privilege of experiencing His faithfulness through each of you. Thank you for your support! Please continue to pray for us, and for the children, youth, and families we serve!
