Summer '22 is finally here and we are so excited to see what God is going to do in the lives of our children, youth, and families this summer. We value inviting people into our ministry and one of the ways you can be involved is by praying for our children, youth, and families this summer. Check out some specific ways you can pray below:
May
Interns - Pray for our summer interns; you can specifically pray for God to use them this summer to impact our families as well as help them growth in their faith. (Proverbs 19:20)
The Word - Pray that our staff communicates God's word effectively and efficiently to our children, youth, and families. (Acts 4:12)
June
Family Events - Pray for our family events, that families would come with open hearts ready to receive the Gospel. (Matthew 28:19-20)
Children Events - Pray for our children, that they come ready to experience a summer of fun and show up with an eagerness to learn more about God's Word. (Jeremiah 29:13)
Health & Safety - Pray for the health and safety of our children, youth, and families this summer and that God would provide His protection over all the summer events and programs. (Psalm 4:8)
July
Camps - Pray for our summer camps, that they would be an amazing place for students to encounter the life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ. (2nd Corinthians 5:17)
Energy - Pray for our staff and volunteers to receive sustained energy to finish the summer strong and not become weary of living out the mission to show Jesus to our people. (Galatians 6:9)
Boldness - Pray for our students and families to be bold in their walk with Christ; to be honest of where they are at and where they need to depend on God for the strength to live out a life modeled after Jesus. (Hebrews 4:16)
August
Restoration - Pray for restoration in our families marriages, relationships, business functions, etc. Pray for a renewed energy for our staff as we prepare for the upcoming semester. (Jeremiah 17:14)
Open Doors - Pray for God to open doors for our children, youth, and families that have never been opened before. Pray that God would urge them to walk into a new life in Him and give them the confidence to leave anything old and useless behind to start living our their new life in Him. (Matthew 5:16)
